About Us

How can Curiosity Communications help me?

Whether you’re a brand-new business or a non-profit looking to start the next chapter, Curiosity Communications is here to be your nerdy bestie and your biggest cheerleader.

What could that look like? Check out our services page for more information, but here's what that could look like:

  • Create word-of-mouth buzz by pitching your story to media outlets

  • Keep your storytelling and visual identity consistent by designing an identity guide

  • Raise awareness of who you are by planning and executing events at small and large scales

  • Develop an engaged audience of champions by creating social media content aligned to your story

We'll work with you on the right strategies to find the sparkle in your story -- and use it to increase awareness, drive action, and cultivate a positive attitude towards your company or non-profit.

What’s your experience in communications?

As a geeky cheerleader, I use a blend of creativity and strategy to identify innovative, tailored, and research-backed strategies to tell compelling stories that increase audience awareness and engagement. From brainstorming to evaluation, I keep our big picture in mind while understanding the many moving pieces that are part of a successful campaign.

I’ve spent almost two decades of experience developing, implementing, and measuring communications campaigns. From the performing arts to public education to healthcare, I've had the chance to work on many different campaigns and projects.

  • Increase ticket subscription sales for an opera company by creating their first database

  • Raise $18,000 for a public education non-profit through a social media campaign

  • Plan and implement a multi-day summer conference event with an overall 96% attendee satisfaction rating for an industry organization

Why Curiosity Communications?

When I graduated from the University of Denver with a Master’s in Public Relations, the communications field was highly competitive and true entry-level opportunities were rare. My dream was to create a communications agency catering to new and emerging businesses, staffed by new and emerging talent. After working with non-profits and in public service for almost twenty years, I've learned how to make the most of your resources and understand what it's like to build something out of courage and dreams.

Fun Fact: Sound travels faster than light, which means people often hear about something before they see it.
